Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and is a completely self-supporting enterprise owned and operated by the City of San José, Northern California's largest city and the 10th largest city in the U.S.

San Jose is the largest city in the Bay Area, but SJC is the second-busiest of the three Bay Area airports by passenger count. SJC served 14.3 million passengers in 2018, surpassing its previous record of 14.2 million passengers set in 2001. SJC has been one of America’s fastest-growing major airports for rate of year-over-year seat capacity growth since 2012.
